The 2,400th Airlifter Goes To Cannon AFB, NM The C-130 Hercules program reached a significant milestone last week with the delivery of its 2400th aircraft. The aircraft is an MC-130J Combat Shadow II assigned to U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command and will be operated by the 27th Special Operations Wing at Cannon Air Force Base, NM.

Airline To Use Aircraft For New Long-Haul Flights The largest low cost carrier from the Philippines is set to become a new A330 operator, following an announcement that it has selected the aircraft for new long haul services. Cebu Pacific (CEB) plans to acquire up to eight leased aircraft for the new operation, which will begin in the third quarter of 2013.
